About Pat…
From her start in the public parks, Pat became a nationally ranked junior player, the number one junior player in the Missouri Valley, and the number one Adult player in St. Louis. At Washington University, she played two years on the Men’s team followed by two years on the Women’s team.
Pat has been a USPTA certified teaching pro for over 40 years in which time she has taught thousands and coached many USTA teams to districts, sectionals, and nationals.
Returning to competition in the senior divisions after a twenty year break at the age of 55, she has won 14 national titles (Gold Balls) and two World Cups (55 & 60) for the US in the past thirteen years. Pat has won Doubles Gold Balls with nine different partners.
Pat is currently in three tennis Hall of Fames: Saint Louis Tennis Hall of Fame (2016), Washington University Sports Hall of Fame (2018), Missouri Valley Tennis Hall of Fame (2018). Other honors: USPTA Missouri Valley Play of the Year 55 and Over 2011, Missouri Valley Professional of the Year 2011, St. Louis District Adult Player of the Year 2016.
